Erik earned his Personal Training Certification, along with specialized certification in Cardiovascular and High Elevation Running from International Sports Sciences Association.  He also specializes in Soccer and Cross Country Running/Training.  He has been a Coach for College, High School and Competitive Levels since 2001.  Erik attended College in Florida where majored in Sports Science.  He played soccer for Division I before getting injured.  He currently is a Coach at Sutter High School for both Junior Varsity and Varsity, along with coaching a U13 Girls Competitive Soccer Team.  He is also happily married to Amy and they have three beautiful children who keep them busy both on and off the field.

Erik specializes in one-on-one soccer training but also enjoys working with both our youth and adults in our group classes.  His main vision for Elite Fitness is to change the future for the youth and help give them a chance to reach the collegiate levels and improve the overall fitness of our youth in our local community and what better place to help make that vision a reality




Beto has received his Certification as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist through International Sports Sciences Association.  He has also received Certifications in Exercise Therapy and Concussion in Sports.  Beto attended Sutter High School and then Yuba College where he played soccer for two years.  He then went on and played for William Jessup for one year. 

Beto, also known to many as “Pumba”, has had over six years of experience in Strength and Personal Training.  He has assisted with both Women and Men’s Soccer at Yuba College, not to mention various high schools and competitive teams in our area.  He joined Elite Fitness in 2012 and has been an asset to both our kid and adult programs. Beto’s goals for now and the future, include helping our young athletes reach their goals both on and off the field, as well as helping them reach their goals on playing at the next level. He also enjoys working with our adult clientele, where he works with them to improve their overall health and fitness levels.

Jamie was first introduced to the workout world in 2011. Being a mom of two active boys inspired her to better herself. She soon fell in love with her new found hobby, pushing herself to do things she had never even dreamt of. In 2016 is when she took a leap and signed up for my first Spartan race. From the moment she crossed the finish line, she was hooked and quickly set out to earn her Trifecta for the year.  In December of 2016 she was given the opportunity to fill some pretty big shoes and take on the Spartan training classes at Elite Fitness. Jamie says that nothing brings her more joy than helping people conquer their fears and soar past their own minds limitations.

Jamie hopes to continue pushing people to cross that finish line in future Spartan races.

Lalo Ramirez


Lalo has been into physical fitness since he started playing soccer in 1997.  He has continued to grow as an athlete since then.  Lalo went to Yuba City High School and was awarded the #1 athlete of the year in his junior year ending his soccer season with 44 goals and 14 assist for all of California.  That record still holds it spot at Yuba City High School today.  He also played at Yuba College from 2008- 2010.  After time at Yuba College, Lalo enlisted in the military.  The high demand of physical fitness pushed him even harder to better both his body and mind where he became not only a good athlete but also an elite soldier.  His military training lead him to be an Air Assault and Elite Airborne soldier, where he was able to run 31 miles in full combat gear.  He is currently still enlisted in the National Guard.  Lalo is a single father and strives to be a good dad, challenging himself each and every day to be a better person.  Lalo is getting his Personal Training Certification from ……. And plans of further his career as a personal training by enrolling in additional certifications.  He is a newer member to Elite family but enjoys challenging our adult clientele to better themselves both physically and mentally.

Austin morehead

Austin is new to the personal training world, having just received his AFAA certification for group fitness and is excited to work with our Elite clients. Austin graduated from Sutter High School where he played football and was a 2x All-State Defense End. Austin also wrestled and was 2x CIF State Placer and a 2x Fargo All-American. He attended junior college and then transferred to Oregon State University where he placed True 2nd at the PAC 12 Championship in 2014 and was 2014 NCAA champion qualifier. After college he stayed in Oregon at volunteered as an assistant coach for two years. He came back to the Yuba City area and with such a passion for fitness and sports, decided that Elite Fitness would be the gym that he could give back to the community he is so fond of. He has effective strength and conditioning workouts for ALL AGES and levels of training.
