Why a fitness program?
Childhood obesity rates have more than tripled since the 1970’s for children ages 6-11. (National Institute for Medicine) Studies show that students who are physically fit are not only healthier, but do better in school.

Elite students are working on becoming healthier humans. It doesn't matter what background you come from or the passion in your life, a foundation of health stays with you the rest of your life.

What physical fitness can do for your students:
Improve overall life expectancy by developing a healthy habit of fitness and exercise.
Promote healthy self- esteem and help overcome social problems with other students while training proper nutrition and eating habits.

Help improve 5th grade PFT (physical fitness test) results.
Preventing obesity in youth will help prevent obesity in adulthood.
How the program works:

A sample schedule for Elite Fitness consists of:
Two days a week / two hours each day with three 30-minute sessions of 20 students in each session.
